About Us

ProCo is a forward-looking training organisation offering a wide range of learning opportunities to individual learners and businesses. The provision available includes Government funded programmes including Young Apprenticeships, Apprenticeships, Advanced Apprenticeships, Foundation Learning and Work Placed Learning (Formally Train to Gain).  In addition bespoke packages can be offered at employers’ premises to meet specific needs. Our Training Consultants are committed to the provision of high quality learning experiences and good achievements for learners.

 

The provision is offered across a broad range of occupational areas including:
Accounting Animal Care Business and Admin Customer Care Engineering Horticulture Housing Motor Vehicle Retail Veterinary Nursing

Recruitment and selection support is available for employers. ProCo staff will assess and interview candidates for vacancies and make recommendations to employers so that only relevant applications are put forward for interview.

ProCo has developed flexible approaches to the delivery of training to meet the needs of employers, learners and the demands of the various qualifications. This means that we work at employer premises or at our Training Centre as appropriate.

ProCo is not restricted to working in the Wigan area but the company has its roots in the Borough and has strong working relationships with local stakeholders particularly other Training Providers, Connexions and the Local Authority.

Hundreds of young people choose ProCo for their training and hundreds of employers support those young people with their learning and in doing so strengthen their workforce.
